We train you how to train your dog, in your home, using force-free training for EVERY DOG – puppies, adult dogs, competition dogs, shy dogs, fearful dogs, deaf dogs, reactive dogs, “problem” dogs and high energy dogs.

Whether you are bringing home a new pup, or just need to brush up on some doggie skills, we can help.​ Our dog trainer strives to provide the best dog training possible.

Core Dog Professional Obedience Training uses experienced-based training techniques to achieve results in the most effective and dog-friendly way possible. We do not use force or intimidation to change behavior, but rather set you up with your dog to succeed and then let you to reward the dog for making good choices.

 

Our personal goal is to use the least intrusive methods that are simple for both the human and dog to understand in order to get the best possible results in a timely fashion. Using our extensive experience working with dogs of a wide variety of breeds and issues, we are able to address the needs of both you and your dog no matter what they may be.

 

Individual programs are designed to be comprehensive and have something to offer everyone looking for a better relationship with their dog.

You can have a dog that's well trained, comes when called, and greets guests politely. A dog that doesn't take you for a walk, but walks causally by your side.

In addition to our core in home training programs, we can also incorporate the below issues on an "as needed" basis.

Our Certified and Licensed Dog Trainer teaches fun and effective group and private classes through positive reinforcement. ​We use positive reinforcement techniques to ensure learning is not only effective, but also fun for both the dog and dog owner. We can help you start your new puppy off right by focusing on problem prevention or helping with unwanted behaviors that older pups and dogs may have already learned. We are your local neighbor and will provide the best dog training for you and your dogs.

Margarita Douglas, Certified Dog Trainer, has been teaching, training and competing for over 12 years. She has had a great deal of success at the National Agility Championship with the American Kennel Club.

A Certificate of Completion is awarded for each course completed.
